Plain English Summary

You're buying a desktop app that makes it easy to install OpenClaw. One license, one computer. You own what you create with it. We're not responsible for what your AI does. If you don't like it, you get 30 days to ask for your money back.

1. What You're Buying

LobsterLauncher is a desktop application ("the Software") that installs, configures, and manages OpenClaw on your personal computer. By purchasing a license, you receive:

A perpetual license to use the Software on one (1) computer
One year of software updates from the date of purchase
Email support

2. License Terms

One license, one machine. Each license key activates on a single computer (Mac or Windows). You may transfer your license to a new machine by deactivating it on the old one first.

Personal use. Licenses are for individual use. If you want to deploy LobsterLauncher across a team or organization, contact us for volume licensing.

No redistribution. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share your license key or the Software.

No reverse engineering. You may not decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the Software, except where applicable law explicitly permits it.

3. OpenClaw Is Separate Software

LobsterLauncher installs and configures OpenClaw, which is a separate open-source project with its own license. We are not the developers of OpenClaw and do not control its functionality, updates, or availability. LobsterLauncher is a convenience tool — a guided installer — not a replacement for OpenClaw itself.

4. AI Agent Disclaimer

⚠️ Important

OpenClaw is an AI agent that can take actions on your computer — including reading files, executing commands, making API calls, and modifying data. LobsterLauncher provides permission controls to limit these capabilities, but you are ultimately responsible for what your AI agent does.

We are not liable for:

Actions taken by your AI agent
Data loss or corruption caused by AI operations
API costs incurred through your AI provider accounts
Messages sent by your AI to third parties (via Telegram, Discord, etc.)
Any consequences of commands executed by the AI on your system

5. API Keys & Third-Party Services

LobsterLauncher helps you configure API keys for AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc.). These accounts are yours. You are responsible for:

Maintaining your own API provider accounts and billing
Setting appropriate spending limits with your providers
Keeping your API keys secure

We are not a party to your relationship with AI providers and are not responsible for their service availability, pricing changes, or terms.

6. Updates

Your license includes one year of updates. After one year, the Software continues to work as-is, but you won't receive new versions. You may purchase an update extension to continue receiving updates.

8. Limitation of Liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE.

9. Termination

We may terminate your license if you violate these terms (e.g., redistribute the software or share license keys). Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the Software. Sections 4, 5, 8, and 10 survive termination.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Larimer County, Colorado.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via our website. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance.
